When it came to designing the magazine’s very first communications campaign 148 decided to put the Les Numériques community to the test by testing its observational skills with a series of images taken from geek and high-tech culture past and present. Watcheur reintroduces that well-known game ‘Spot the Difference’, but with a 148 twist!
How do you create a website that meets both the needs of the monks and visitor expectations at the same time?
When it came to the technical aspects of the project, 148 Agency worked in conjunction with communications agency Les Pistoleros.
The Cîteaux abbey website needed to feature a lot of multimedia content, including images, videos and sounds, making the functional administration of these elements vital. Various accordion systems (folded/unfolded) and anchor systems and a pre-determined text style were also incorporated, along with a complex registration and booking form to help optimise visitor management. The choice of CMS Joomla therefore enabled us to design a site that the monks could easily administer themselves.
148 Agency was responsible for the following aspects of the project, in conjunction with Les Pistoleros:
- Technical consultancy
- Installation of the Joomla administration system
- Design integration
- Development
Despite the very tight time frames and budget restraints, 148 was able to quickly create an effective and administrable site for the Cistercian monks. The site now enables future visitors to learn more about Cîteaux abbey before they visit.
