A strong marketing challenge: attracting new students

"Sports Business, International Hotel Management, design, fashion, luxury... so many exciting professional fields in which ACE Education and its schools train the professionals of tomorrow!" This is how the ACE Education higher education group explains its mission on its website. On our side, our mission: to create the new website for AMOS, the school dedicated to sports within the group.

ACE Education and the AMOS team are looking for one or more providers who can support them in the redesign of their website, with a very clear objective: to rethink the site as a whole in order to improve the user experience and performance. Agency 148 is teaming up with its usual SEO partner to offer a 360 response: standing out in a competitive environment, attracting and guiding users through the site, and transforming their interest into an admission pathway. 3, 2, 1… GO!

Workshops to co-construct

After the usual “kick-off” and a joint review of the specifications, we are launching two series of workshops, one dedicated to UX/UI and the other to SEO. In fact, the two topics are related, but we prefer to break down the large tasks into smaller ones in order not to tackle all the issues at once and overwhelm the client with questions.

This design stage is crucial and dictates the entire redesign, as the choices made impact the classification of content, the use of the graphic charter, and of course the choice of features that will be developed.


A densification of the graphic charter

The graphic charter of Amos has just been completely rethought as the work of redesign begins. Our contribution will therefore consist of densifying the charter to adapt it to digital. This is the work of Lisa and Victoria, which is developed as the page layouts unfold under their styluses.

The content being very dense, Lisa and Victoria are working a lot on the navigation: creating color codes, attracting the eye to a CTA with a parallax, visually lightening the pages by “organizing” the content into dropdowns… The consultation of the site must remain fluid in a site intentionally very rich in content, and aimed at many different target audiences.

Beyond content, conveying an emotion

The promise of Amos is that sport should not just be a leisure passion but the heart of a profession. It is therefore essential to amplify the inspirational aspect of the Amos website, so that “Gen Z – the main target of the programs offered – wants to join the ranks of the business school. We maintain the full-screen photographs of athletes or students, to which we add punchlines to strengthen the messages of Amos.

During this redesign – which lasted more than a year! – we also created other materials for Amos, including printed brochures.

A bilingual and well-ranked site

With a network of 17 schools in France and Europe, convinced that English is an essential skill in sports professions, Amos must have a bilingual website. And of course, all the content, in both languages, is optimized for SEO to support its organic search ranking. Because the aim of this website is indeed to attract future students for the four programs offered by Amos each year.
