
The Rémy Martin cognac house called upon 148 to design a multimedia communication device, inspired by chic and playful elements.
While its reputation is certainly well-established, the centaur brand nonetheless wishes to rejuvenate its image while affirming the vintage chic personality of its new flagship product, the Rémy Martin VSOP Mature Cask Finish cognac. In this perspective, Agency 148 recommended the adoption of a brand content strategy, combining print and digital media.
From refined design to ergonomic comfort, through enriched content (12 bars compared to 6 in the previous application "One Night in London" created in 2013), everything has been implemented to offer a glamorous user experience, in line with the brand's values, a symbol of French chic.

The new application required the use of the Apache Cordova framework (the OpenSource project also known as PhoneGap) for its design, which allows the creation of hybrid multimedia interfaces.
2 languages
The Tokyo version is bilingual, English and Japanese, depending on the language of the phone on which the application is installed.
Thanks to the use of geolocation techniques and the iBeacon positioning system – a technology that allows the transmission of a low-power Bluetooth signal between a device and a beacon – the user has the ability to receive personalized notifications, thus associating with the brand to experience a trendy and nomadic experience.
An intelligent and secure system
Even if he is in the basement of a night-club, the user can be prompted to rate the cocktail made with Rémy Martin cognac that was recommended to him upon arrival, without fear of overcharges related to roaming in a foreign country.
Customization of cocktails
The uniqueness of the new version of the application is also due to Mood. This feature allows for the generation of a random cocktail, giving the user the illusion that the system is scanning his finger.
Both a navigation tool and a trendy accessory, this creation, whose first version for iPad and iPhone had already reached 3,000 downloads, manages to contextualize the product in a sophisticated nightlife environment. Scripted this way, Rémy Martin cognac is now seen as the essential ingredient for cult evenings, to be enjoyed (in moderation) in the muted or baroque ambiance of exceptional venues.
