In 2021, the training organization Capital Formations faced a significant communication challenge: due to a regulatory change, individuals can now manage their own training, whereas this was previously an exclusive responsibility of HR departments. As a result, training organizations must now address a dual audience, adding B2C to their traditional B2B focus.
To adapt to this new context, Capital Formations, specializing in language and IT training, called on us to rethink its visual and editorial identity and to redesign its website.
To reach a new audience, it's essential to adapt the message. The institutional and formal language used previously was suitable for industry experts but not for a general public audience. We developed an editorial guide to assist the client in crafting their content and defining the appropriate tone to adopt.
To optimize the website's SEO, we also conducted a keyword study, which informed the recommendations in the editorial guide.
"Communication throughout the project went smoothly, and we are very pleased with both the new identity and the website."
Dan, Director, Capital Formations
"For a training organization, it's rare to have such a strong identity. It was very interesting to create a rich and playful visual universe."
Victoria, Artistic Director, 148 Collective Agency
Beyond their desire to reach a new audience, Capital Formations also aimed to modernize their brand identity. To achieve this, we were tasked with redesigning the logo and creating an entirely new brand guide.
Since personalized support is Capital Formations’ key strength, the logo was designed with this in mind. The various geometric shapes that make up the logo reflect the diversity of the training programs offered and can be combined in countless ways to emphasize the modularity of the courses.
"The goal of the redesign is to modernize the site and make it more accessible to individuals seeking training."
Pauline, Project Manager, 148 Agence Collective
The new visual identity is integrated into the redesigned website: the shapes from the logo are used to energize the content and create transitions between pages. Their arrangement varies depending on the page the user is viewing.
One of the challenges of this redesign was reorganizing the content to make it more accessible to individuals searching for training. We completely rethought the site’s structure to highlight the training programs and Capital Formations’ two key strengths: personalized solutions and comprehensive support.
