Design an ergonomic and elegant e-commerce site

The house Hugo & Victor has called on agency 148 for the redesign of its website by creating an online shop (Prestashop development) as well as a showcase site that reflects the refinement of its products. Furthermore, this new site allows for highlighting the commitments of chef Hugues Pouget and the creations of Hugo & Victor, all made from seasonal fruits and without any artificial coloring.

A boost for a pastry e-shop

The creative bias is to establish a web design that is both elegant and modern while setting a graphic and editorial tone that did not previously exist. The goal of the website redesign was to enhance the brand and its story on one hand and to increase online sales on the other. A complete website creation project with the codes of luxury.

The work of art direction allows for the implementation of a wide range of soft and varied colors, while asserting a current iconographic bias through a selection of clean and polished visuals. This art direction leads to a delicate, airy web design with an appropriate typographic choice.

The copywriting, for its part, allows for the creation of texts specialized in the world of high-end culinary creation. This work of SEO-optimized copywriting allows the site to be particularly well-referenced. This unique project provides an opportunity for 148 Agence Collective to prove itself as a luxury and gastronomy communication agency.

UX, SEO and Consulting for comprehensive support

The aim of the website redesign is to enhance the brand and its history on one hand and to increase online sales on the other hand. That is why the writing of the texts is produced based on SEO work (natural referencing) in order to improve positioning in search engine results, on queries that we have studied together.

A consulting and UX design effort also makes the site more fluid. This makes navigation understandable, especially with adapted ergonomics (UI design). Thus, the entire purchasing journey is completely revamped, just like the way users navigate among the hundreds of products. Finally, the work of UI and UX design allows for better information hierarchy across the entire site.

When developers revisit Prestashop

The agency 148 chose the CMS Prestashop, but in order to offer the client a customized service, the technical team of 148 Agence Collective entirely builds the website template. One of the biggest technical challenges of the project is also to manage a large number of features that the e-shop offers, particularly the delivery options available based on the consumer's location.

The greatest constraint is to allow the teams at Hugo & Victor to manage orders easily. Indeed, food products require specific storage and transport conditions, and not all products benefit from the same delivery conditions. This real puzzle is solved thanks to the custom development of delivery management by courier. Finally, it goes without saying that the developers have been particularly attentive and demanding regarding the security of financial transactions.

A tailored social media training

Once the site is live, the Social Media Management team at the agency is responsible for training the teams at Hugo & Victor regarding the brand's voice on the various social media platforms through a social media strategy conceived from the project's inception. This training addresses issues such as consumer retention, raising brand awareness while engaging in conversation, and finally reassuring online purchases for this type of product. This social media training also helps the brand understand which editorial line to adopt as well as how to use the right keywords like hashtags #food, #pastry, or #yummy.

This editorial line maximizes the impact of Hugo & Victor's messaging on social networks. It fosters connections and, above all, ensures the consistency of the brand's communication. Choosing social platforms is also fundamental; 148 recommends Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest as the main social networks, while positioning Twitter as a secondary tool. Understanding the mechanisms of e-reputation (the brand's reputation on the Internet) provides Hugo & Victor's teams with undeniable expertise to monitor, manage, and control the brand's image online.
