Accompany researchers in the entrepreneurial adventure

Technofounders is a investment company specialized in industrial deeptech projects in three areas: agriculture, green chemistry, and health. In one sentence, its role is to support technologies into viable companies, not only financially but also through business consulting. This is what is called a "venture builder".

Founded by three science and technology enthusiasts in 2014, Technofounders faces, in 2022, competition from young "startup studios" with punchy communication and impactful messages. The founders of Technofounders therefore seek to differenciate themselves and showcase their high level of expertise by positioning themselves as a "venture builder," which reinforces the importance of the sustainability of the supported companies – far from the image of the ephemeral and sometimes vain startup.

A structured and malleable universe

Technofounders must assert its expertise through a new discourse. This is Charlotte's role, who is working on the new positioning of Technofounders: a balance between optimism, passion, pragmatism, and on-the-ground knowledge. Charlotte is developing a brand identity based on assertion, something that Technofounders, too modest, has not been able to implement clearly. A tagline is added to the logo: “Building technology to make sense.”

On the graphic side, the logo must be preserved; this is part of the brief. But Lisa, our creative director, points out the weaknesses of the identity: a beehive ray that has been seen and reviewed, a yellow color that is difficult to use online and cannot serve to identify Technofounders' areas of expertise, underutilized images... Very well. 148 Agence Collective proposes a facelift for the logo, and especially a coherent graphic system: the logo serves as a shape to insert photographs, and a system of colors and shapes derived from mathematics identifies the expertise at a glance. And what if Technofounders ventures into a new field? 148 Agence Collective can add a graphical “section”!

A clear and easy-to-use site

The objective of this positioning work is, of course, to appear as an attractive company to researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and future talents of Technofounders. While all are essential to the creation and long-term support of startups, they do not have the same needs or the same vision of Technofounders! The reading of interviews with these stakeholders clearly shows us the extent of the task. To avoid talking to no one while trying to reach everyone, we are considering a structure that allows each person to create their path on the website. It is Technofounders that is responsible for writing the content – a step that has proven to be more challenging than they had imagined!

One of the peculiarities of Technofounders is to recruit for itself and for its startups. We offer custom CMS blocks to automatically pull job offers from the various WTTJ accounts of their startups.

Result: an easy-to-enrich and update site thanks to Wordpress CMS, lively and dynamic due to a few skillfully placed animations, a clear and immersive modern interface, and 7 new startups presented on the site since its launch!
