Creating a credible and professional visual identity for a young NGO

SCP works for a responsible and resilient coconut sector that generates a positive impact on farmers' livelihoods, the climate and the environment. The NGO, established in 2022, manages the largest community of private sector professionals in the field and facilitates collaborations for large-scale change. It pilots The Sustainable Coconut Charter, promoting transparency and market-driven assurance.

Rebranding and creation of brand territory

SCP's rebranding project began with a bespoke creative workshop, essential for defining its positioning, key messages, tone of voice and overall brand territory. This led to a complete rebranding, including the delivery of various communication tools such as a branding kit with a rework of the logo and graphic charter, the design of the newsletter in HTML for Pardot, letterhead, a pitch deck in PowerPoint, as well as templates for LinkedIn adapted in Illustrator and Canva. The design of the brand's event stands was also reviewed, with the creation of posters and kakemonos.

Storytelling and motion design

To highlight the NGO's successes during its first year, we created a motion design brand film, incorporating an interview with the founder, hand-drawn illustrations and dynamic graphic elements. At the time of writing, in early 2024, a second motion design is being produced. It recounts the success of The Coconut Roundtable event in Jakarta in November 2023, a key moment for players in the coconut industry, which is undergoing a major transformation.

Creation of a new webpage for SCP

SCP also asked us to develop a new page on its website (WIX) to present the achievements and successes of its round table. For this page, we focused on fluid navigation and graphic deconstructing, in order to lighten the text blocks and make reading more pleasant.

Towards an Innovative and Sustainable Future with SCP

This collaboration with SCP demonstrates how an effective communications and rebranding strategy can transform an organisation's image. The rebranding, coupled with storytelling initiatives via motion design and an overhaul of the online presence with a new web page, has reinforced SCP's identity as an industry leader. These actions have highlighted the NGO's successes, while underlining its commitment to innovation and sustainability. SCP is now seen as a key player in the coconut industry, ready to face future challenges with a strong brand, judged by its peers to be solid and highly professional.
